Jesus Has Been There!

I just heard this song today called "I have been there" by Mark Schultz, and I guess I really needed to hear it today, because it really spoke to me.

It’s so easy to fail to sympathize with those who struggle in areas we don’t.

If you've been tired, anxious, feeling abandoned by friends, hurting, in pain, dealing with failing health, broken relationships, death of a loved one, loss or sorrow, facing challenges of taking care of your kids.......Jesus wants us to know that He knows how we're feeling, because He's been there!

Jesus can sympathize with our struggles, for he too knows what it’s like.  Hebrews 4:15 says:
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.  Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Isn't it amazing that we have a Saviour who can identify with what we're going through, and let's us know we don't have to do it alone?

I'm so glad because without His strength, I am nothing.
